The process and ‘journey’ we experienced with Bill Ligety and Abbi Martz was so exceptionally wonderful, that we give them our highest praise. Our quest began in a ‘hot market’, with limited inventory. Abbi and Bill ensured a nice representation for BOTH of our requirements, but also included a sampling of other property types. I am pleased to write a testimonial expressing our total satisfaction with the great job you and Abbi in selling our Deer Crest home. It had been on the market for nearly 2 years without any activity. Not even any showings or offers. We didn’t hear from our realtor unless we called. It was a frustrating time for us because we had recently purchased the home of our dreams in Deer Crest on the same street as the first. Having one home is enough. Two is almost impossible. We had determined that we would change realtors when the contract came up for renewal. I began to ask around to old time Parkites who had homes here for many years and were well connected in the community. One in particular said Bill Ligety would be the one to sell his home when he is ready. We called Bill and were quickly introduced to Abby. Early on it became clear that these were the people to sell our home. They staged the home with furniture, had a photographer do a fabulous sales brochure and even did a helicopter video with them skiing out of our home. Communication was considerable. Showing were often and a buyer was found in a matter of weeks. Our only regret was that we didn’t begin our sales effort with Bill and Abby. We would recommend them to you without reservation.

I had been traveling to Park City/Deer Valley for many years for both Winter and Summer activities and typically staying at a friend's home in the area. After deciding that purchasing my own home at Deer Valley was something I wanted to do, I spoke with friends and everyone suggested working with Bill and Abbi. We began my search in the Summer while I was already in the area for a golf and fishing trip. I was impressed with their knowledge of the region as it seemed everywhere we went they knew the other agents, the developers, the original land owners and the builders. That level of insight and history was quite comforting and helpful. Bill and Abbi also assisted me in translating my personal preferences to the types of properties available in the Deer Valley area, so I could locate what would best deliver on my expectations. Ultimately, after a couple of short trips and a review of multiple options to gain an appropriate understanding of the market, we settled on a not-yet-for-sale property known to Bill and Abbi. It represented exactly my style, size and preferred location. After a small amount of back-and-forth with the seller, we were done. Thanks to their efforts and superior knowledge of the market, I now have exactly what I wanted in my new Deer Valley vacation property. Bill and Abbi were certainly the right choice for me, and in addition to being experts in their field and the Park City area, they’re just nice people to work with and that combination isn’t always easy to find!

Bill and Abbi made purchasing a ski home long distance easy and enjoyable. We flew in from Wisconsin for two days of touring homes and they had everything lined up as well as beautifully prepared booklets of the places we toured, and maps of the area. We had time for second looks on the properties we were interested in. Everything flowed smoothly and we made excellent use of our limited time. Bill and Abbi have extensive ties to and knowledge of the Upper Deer Valley area in which we were interested, and we found that helpful when choosing the place that was right for us. They are also extremely detail oriented and made closing go very smoothly. We are busy professionals with four children and we wanted some "hand-holding." They introduced us to contractors that were needed for contingency repairs and reminded us of every deadline. They provided a list of contacts and click-throughs to city municipalities, cable, alarm companies, property managers, etc. Absolutely everything we needed to do in order to purchase a home was spelled out and made simple for us. Four months after closing, when the snow was gone so that roof repair could be finished, they reminded us about it (we'd already forgotten about it). Throughout the process, Bill and Abbi were always accessible by phone call, text, or email, and they are delightful to work with. We couldn't be happier with our new home and we highly recommend Bill Ligety and Abbi Martz.
